This November, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) will host a special follow-up event: the GREENART Workshop – Part Two. Although this workshop will take place outside the official GREENART project framework, it will directly build on the research, methodologies, and innovations explored during the project’s lifespan.

Organized by the MFAH conservation team and led by Prof. Piero Baglioni and Prof. Giovanna Poggi, the event will focus on two core areas of GREENART’s scientific contributions:

  • A review session on gels and nanofluids, revisiting key topics covered during the 2024 training activities.
  • An advanced hands-on workshop, deepening practical knowledge on GREENART’s sustainable cleaning systems and reinforcement materials.

The sessions aim to extend the impact of GREENART, strengthen networks among conservation professionals, and provide an opportunity to further explore cutting-edge tools for the sustainable conservation of cultural heritage.
