On September 24th and 25th 2025, the GREENART project held its Final Meeting in Rome, bringing together partners, researchers, and stakeholders to celebrate the achievements of three years of collaborative innovation.

Hosted at the Ministry of Culture premises, the event showcased the project’s key results in sustainable art restoration, including bio-based cleaning systems, protective coatings, smart monitoring tools, and open-access conservation guidelines.

The meeting featured presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions on future applications of GREENART’s outputs in museums, archives, and contemporary art collections. It also highlighted the project’s transatlantic collaboration with leading U.S. institutions, reinforcing GREENART’s role as a model for international cooperation in cultural heritage science.

As the project officially concludes, its legacy continues through validated materials, shared knowledge, and a growing community of professionals committed to safer, greener conservation practices.

We thank all partners, contributors, and attendees for making this journey possible.
