On September 26th, 2025, the GREENART Final Workshop took place at the Italian Ministry of Culture in Rome, bringing together researchers, conservators, and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond.
The workshop offered a full day of presentations, demonstrations, and discussions focused on the project’s key innovations in sustainable art restoration. Topics included bio-based cleaning systems, protective coatings, smart monitoring tools, and open-access conservation guidelines developed over three years of collaborative research.
Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with the GREENART team, explore real-world applications, and reflect on the project’s transatlantic partnerships with leading U.S. institutions.
The event marked a major milestone in the project’s dissemination efforts, reinforcing GREENART’s commitment to safer, greener, and more effective conservation practices.
