The Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation Center for Conservation at the MFAH organized a three-day workshop in partnership with CSGI, Consorzio Interuniversitario per lo sviluppo dei Sistemi a Grande Interfase – Center for Colloid and Surface Science.
In this workshop, researchers from CSGI presented the results achieved within the first year of the Greenart project (www.greenart-project.eu/), as well as the use and understanding of the new nanostructured fluids, consolidants, and responsive gel formulations, including chemical, physical, and organo-gels. The workshop combined lectures and hands-on experience and was hosted at MFAH. A Zoom option was available for those who were unable to attend and were interested in following the lectures. Online lectures were live during Central Daylight Time (CDT).
Participants attending in person have also been able to purchase a gel kit and cleaning fluids. The cleaning kit can be purchased directly from the CSGI website for those attending online lectures.
