GREENART Project Coordinator, Prof. Piero Baglioni, recently spoke at the MLZ User Meeting 2023 in Munich (December 4-5, 2023), shedding light on innovative materials for cultural heritage conservation. His plenary talk, “Soft Matter for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage“, discussed CSGI’s pioneering work in synthesizing and applying advanced systems like microemulsions and chemical/physical gels. These systems, with scale lengths below 100 nm, offer a groundbreaking platform for conservation. Neutrons and x-rays are crucial tools in their investigation.
